Það sem er geymt á tækinu
Til að appið muni eftir þér í stofunni geymir það á tækinu: nöfnin sem þið gefið dýrunum í sófanum og hver situr þar, hvar þið eruð í hverju myndasögublaði, stjörnumerkið sem þú valdir og efni eða höfunda sem þú hefur falið. Það geymir líka afrit af opinberu efni og myndum svo appið sé fljótt og virki þótt netið detti út. Ekkert af þessu er sent af tækinu. Það hverfur þegar appinu er eytt, og falið efni má birta aftur undir „Um appið“.
Efni sem appið sækir
Appið sækir opinbert efni af okkar eigin vefjum: Sjónvarpið (sjonvarps.líf.is og myndbönd þess), dagsefni líf.is-vefjanna, vegg.líf.is, topp5.líf.is, quis.mis.is, iss.mis.is og myndarsogur.is. Smámyndir YouTube-myndbanda í færslum á iss! koma frá þjónum YouTube (Google). Eins og við allar beiðnir á netinu fá þjónarnir IP-tölu tækisins og venjulegar upplýsingar um beiðnina; hýsingaraðilinn getur skráð þær í aðgangsskrár. Við notum þær ekki til að bera kennsl á fólk eða rekja það.
Tilkynningar
Ef þú tilkynnir færslu, lista eða spurningaleik sendir appið aðeins númer efnisins til umsjónar viðkomandi vefs, á sama hátt og hnappurinn „Tilkynna“ á vefnum. Engar upplýsingar um þig fylgja. Efnið er líka falið á tækinu.
Börn
Appið er gert fyrir fjölskyldur og vini. Það safnar engum persónuupplýsingum, hvorki frá börnum né fullorðnum, og hefur hvorki spjall né innskráningu.

Stored on the device
The names you give the animals on the sofa and who is seated, your reading position in each comic, the star sign you picked, and content or authors you have hidden are stored on the Apple TV. The app also caches public content and images so it stays fast and works offline. None of this leaves the device. It is removed when the app is deleted, and hidden content can be shown again under “Um appið” (About).
Content the app loads
The app loads public content from our own sites: the Sjónvarpið channel (sjonvarps.líf.is and its videos), daily content from the líf.is sites, vegg.líf.is, topp5.líf.is, quis.mis.is, iss.mis.is and myndarsogur.is. Thumbnails of YouTube videos in iss! posts are loaded from YouTube (Google) servers. As with any request on the internet, these servers receive the device’s IP address and standard request information, which the hosting provider may keep in access logs. We do not use it to identify or track anyone.
Reports
When you report a post, list or quiz, the app sends only the item’s number to that site’s moderation, exactly like the “Tilkynna” (report) button on the web. Nothing about you is included. The item is also hidden on the device.
Children
The app is made for families and friends. It collects no personal data from children or adults and has no chat or sign-in.
